The Nuadas clean, modernist dial makes telling the time incredibly simple. The hour is always displayed separately, while the principal hand on the dial points to the exact minute. The Nuada provides this simplicity, with an almost Bauhaus like approach of form following function; bringing together design and technology to offer, contemporary simplicity. Jump hour watches arose when traditional watchmakers first faced competition from digital watches, during the 1970s. The Nuada range brings this concept into the 21st century, offering both quartz and mechanical variations: Our initial range is powered by a precision Miyota quartz gearbox movement, built specifically for a jump hour watch complication. Our mechanical version is fully automatic, powered by the refined, Swiss ETA 2895 -1 caliber. Naturally, to reflect the more prestigious Swiss automatic, this version of the Nuada will be available at a premium over the quartz version. Nuada was the one Irish hero in a thousand, and his most famous epithet was, Airgetlám. This translates as silver arm.
